The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosenthal looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Armstrong keeping full guard, as Rosenthal tries to pass.
Armstrong looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rosenthal puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Rosenthal is looking for a kimura but Armstrong is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rosenthal to get the leverage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Armstrong trying to get back to full guard but Rosenthal takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Armstrong tries to reverse the position but Rosenthal maintains control.
Rosenthal forces the positional change into back control.
Rosenthal has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Armstrong is defending well but eventually Rosenthal manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Armstrong has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
