Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Cobb (ranked 21389 p4p, 473 weight class) and Tyrano Jackson (ranked 6568 p4p, 428 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randall Cobb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyrano Jackson! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson clinches up against the cage. Cobb lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Jackson is pulling down on Cobb's head. It's preventing any offense from Cobb, at least for the moment. Jackson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cobb has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jackson is proving hard to escape from. Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cobb gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cobb stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jackson dodges the punch combination from Cobb.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cobb thows a left - swing and a miss! The fighters circling - Cobb throws out the jab but it was never going to land. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jackson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Nice takedown defense from Cobb. No joy for Jackson on that attempt. Jackson blocks a jab. Cobb displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Cobb scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jackson in his tracks. Jackson shoots for a takedown but Cobb saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jackson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Tyrano Jackson has been cut. Cobb looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Cobb connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Jackson out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Randall Cobb! Our winner, Randall Cobb, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
