The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logo Ii changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Madden looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Madden throws Logo Ii to one side and escapes!
Madden really is a fat lump.
Logo Ii misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Madden went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Logo Ii shoots in and gets a takedown into Madden's guard.
Madden pushes Logo Ii off and scrambles back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Logo Ii looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Madden!
Logo Ii tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Logo Ii has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Logo Ii goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Madden rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Logo Ii's guard! Nice work there by Madden!

Logo Ii has picked Madden up - he's going for a ride! Logo Ii dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Madden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Madden is looking for a sweep. Logo Ii is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Madden is pressing down on Logo Ii's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Logo Ii bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Madden's guard.

Taylor Madden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Logo Ii stays in close to Madden's body and controls the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Logo Ii throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Madden.
Logo Ii closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Jim Logo Ii showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Madden tries to clinch but Logo Ii is having none of it.
Logo Ii feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Logo Ii looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Madden with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
