And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson shoots in and bounces Donovan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Donovan wants to stand but Thompson is controlling the position.
Thompson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Thompson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Donovan has momentary wrist control but Thompson slips an elbow through the middle.
Donovan is rocked!
Donovan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Thompson gets to his feet and stands over Donovan, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Donovan felt that one! Thompson unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Donovan from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Thompson!
