Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Shabalala (ranked 3020 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jingzhong Xin (ranked 4234 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shabalala tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Xin defends well and Shabalala ends up having to push Xin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Xin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Xin lands in his opponent's guard.

Xin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Xin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Shabalala's head.
Xin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Xin looks winded!
Shabalala has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Xin doesn't defend quickly enough and Shabalala has managed to lock this one up! Can Xin escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Shabalala on a fantastic submission victory.
