Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harris Gillespie (ranked 4815 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Alvarez (ranked 3502 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harris Gillespie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hector Alvarez! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Alvarez misses. Alvarez lands a glancing blow to the side of Gillespie's head.
It looks like Harris Gillespie has been cut. Gillespie moves out of range as Alvarez strikes. Hector Alvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Alvarez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gillespie slips a jab from Alvarez. Alvarez waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gillespie. Alvarez swinging wildly here.
Gillespie lands a body shot.
Gillespie drives through and clinches with Alvarez against the cage.
Alvarez wants to break the clinch but can't.
Alvarez wants to get back to striking at distance but Gillespie won't allow it.
Alvarez is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Gillespie jumps guard and drags Alvarez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Gillespie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alvarez's guard.
Gillespie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Alvarez has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Gillespie off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Gillespie clinches up with Alvarez and pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alvarez is trying to force a seperation but Gillespie has the dominant position. Gillespie has hold of one of Alvarez's legs. Alvarez is fighting the takedown attempt but Gillespie gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Alvarez has his feet on Gillespie's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Gillespie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Alvarez falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gillespie moves into the clinch. Gillespie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hector Alvarez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Alvarez missing with a left hand there. Gillespie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Alvarez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Gillespie is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Alvarez. Gillespie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Alvarez to score with a decent uppercut.
Gillespie is rocked! Alvarez drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Gillespie's head, knocking him out cold! Alvarez is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
