Kappa Knox has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cung Lingus's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lingus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Knox connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Cung Lingus has been cut.
Lingus dives in and grabs Knox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Knox pushes down on Lingus's head and hops out.
Knox throws a big counter head kick but Lingus avoids it with no problem.
Lingus fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cung Lingus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lingus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lingus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Knox tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lingus wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Lingus wants to control but Knox is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Lingus shoots in for a double leg but Knox sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Knox was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Cung Lingus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lingus fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lingus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knox but Knox pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lingus darts in looking for a takedown but Knox gets double underhooks and turns Lingus into the cage.
Knox leaves Lingus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lingus looks up at the clock. Bad move! Knox lands a right hand from hell, dropping Lingus. Knox pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kappa Knox!
After winning the bout, Kappa Knox thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
