Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vilson Juvenal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ranca Tampa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tampa has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Vilson Juvenal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tampa has managed to clinch.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
A shot in the inside from Juvenal.
It looks like Ranca Tampa has been cut.
Juvenal gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Tampa regains guard.

Juvenal has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Juvenal seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tampa for as long as he can get away with.
Tampa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Juvenal's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
