Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Edmonds (ranked 628 p4p, 80 weight class) and Ethan Hunt (ranked 3697 p4p, 341 weight class). Edmonds comes to the cage accompanied by Frankie Smith - Double Dutch Bus. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt shoots in but Edmonds avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hunt shoots in but no luck this time.
Edmonds drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hunt sprawls and moves away.
Edmonds smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Edmonds walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hunt checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hunt blocks a leg kick.
Edmonds lands a lovely overhand right.
Ethan Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Edmonds waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Hunt. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Hunt to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Hunt is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hunt is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hunt is still in real trouble! Can Edmonds finish him?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunt seems to have recovered his senses.
Edmonds passes Hunt's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Hunt is trying to control but Edmonds manages to pass to mount!
Edmonds is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hunt has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Edmonds can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hunt is looking to escape.

Edmonds throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hunt has his hands clasped together but Edmonds breaks the hold and Hunt is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Edmonds!

After winning the bout, John Edmonds thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
