Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brady Gamble (ranked 7033 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Peterson (ranked 4859 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Brady Gamble has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Brady Gamble seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brady Gamble! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bjorn Peterson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson tries to clinch there but Gamble circles away.
It looked like Gamble was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Peterson. Gamble lands a right hook to the body.
Peterson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gamble avoids it really well and circles away. Peterson throws a sloppy head kick and Gamble counters with a series of strikes. Peterson will be more careful next time no doubt. Peterson has closed the distance and engaged Gamble in a clinch.
Gamble wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Peterson tries to pull guard but Gamble won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peterson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Peterson decides to stand back up. Peterson steps back and let's Gamble get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gamble tries to clinch but Peterson is having none of it. A head kick misses from Gamble. Peterson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Gamble! Peterson stands up. Sloppy strikes from Gamble. Those never looked like landing. Peterson fails to land with a series of punches.
Gamble throws a head kick that misses and Peterson counters with a left to the body. Gamble pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Peterson defending well as Gamble loads up on a big left hand. Peterson misses with a kick to the body and Gamble counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gamble gets tackled into the cage by Peterson. Peterson maintains the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peterson tries for a takedown but Gamble manages to get underhooks.
Brady Gamble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjorn Peterson. The referee is keeping an eye on Peterson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Gamble is trying to push Peterson away but Peterson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Peterson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Peterson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Peterson shoots in for a takedown but Gamble shows good takedown defense. Gamble lands a nice hook to Peterson's body. Peterson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Peterson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Gamble counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gamble swinging wildly here.
Peterson darts in and clinches Gamble up against the cage. Gamble wants to break free but Peterson has control.
Gamble tries to circle away but Peterson has him pinned against the cage. Peterson breaks from the clinch.
Gamble stuns Peterson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gamble tries to close the distance and clinch but Peterson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A head kick by Peterson misses and Gamble counters with a straight right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gamble tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Peterson was well out of range. Poor timing from Gamble. Peterson shoots in for a takedown but Gamble shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Gamble punishes Peterson's body with a nice straight punch. Peterson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gamble stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gamble gets tackled into the cage by Peterson. Peterson maintains the clinch. Gamble is fighting off a takedown attempt but Peterson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gamble to the mat. Gamble regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peterson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Gamble wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Brady Gamble will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A head kick misses from Gamble. Peterson unleashes a big counter combination but Gamble bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Gamble lands a head kick!
Gamble checks a low kick from Peterson. Peterson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gamble is out of range and Peterson settles back down. Peterson closes the distance and clinches. Gamble is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Peterson is defending well. Gamble slowing the pace effectively. Gamble trying to stall but Peterson improves his position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Brady Gamble. Peterson drives through with a takedown into Gamble's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Peterson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bjorn Peterson has got the better of the ground game so far. Peterson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gamble has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Peterson has managed to get both his arms back between Gamble's legs - danger averted. Peterson wants to get up but he can't break Gamble's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Peterson forces his way into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peterson scoring with strikes to the body and head. Peterson is controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gamble wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Gamble throws a body punch but Peterson moves out of range. Gamble misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peterson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gamble to the ground. Peterson is now in Gamble's guard. Gamble not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson wanted to stand there but Gamble had control of the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Peterson sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bjorn Peterson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

A leg kick checked by Gamble. Gamble tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A countering left hand to the body from Peterson misses. Bjorn Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peterson closes the distance and clinches. Peterson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gamble after a bit of a struggle. Peterson stalling in the clinch.

Peterson darts in trying to clinch and Gamble cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Peterson closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Gamble to counter with a crisp jab. Peterson doesn't manage to clinch there - Gamble circles away.
Gamble was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Gamble looks to score with a jab to the body but Peterson is just out of range. Peterson clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson tries to pull guard but Gamble holds him up against the cage and eventually Peterson drops back down to his feet.
Peterson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gamble is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Brady Gamble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjorn Peterson. Gamble manages to break the clinch.
Peterson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gamble to the ground. Peterson is now in Gamble's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Gamble manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gamble has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Peterson manages to break the clinch.
Peterson closes the distance and clinches up with Gamble, looking for a takedown. Peterson pushes Gamble against the cage but Gamble circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Peterson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gamble lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Peterson tries a head kick but it misses.
Peterson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gamble manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Peterson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Peterson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gamble keeping moving, preventing Peterson from controlling successfully. Gamble wants to stand and escape but Peterson is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson is working Gamble over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Peterson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gamble is wriggling around but Peterson manages to pass to half guard.
Gamble is trying to control but can't.
Peterson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Peterson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Gamble is trying to stand up here but Peterson is controlling him well. Peterson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Gamble. Peterson slows the pace down in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brady Gamble. I think Gamble has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
