Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cardo Dalisay (ranked 4324 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Holey (ranked 21923 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dalisay thuds his right hand into Holey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Holey dives in and grabs Dalisay's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dalisay pushes down on Holey's head and hops out.

Dalisay fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Holey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Dalisay manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Holey keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Holey dives in for a single leg takedown but Dalisay sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dalisay is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Horrible takedown attempt by Holey or perhaps it was just good defense by Dalisay, which made it look bad.

Dalisay throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Holey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Holey drops back looking for a leg! Dalisay is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dalisay manages to kick Holey off! Holey jumps back into Dalisay's guard.
