The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leekpai throws a shot to the body.
We've been informed that Leekpai has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Leekpai moves into range and connects with a jab.
Leekpai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dimelo.

Leekpai wants to counter with a clinch but Dimelo pushes him away.

Leekpai takes one to the side of the head.
Dimelo slips a jab from Leekpai.
Leekpai clobbers Dimelo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd cheers as Leekpai lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dimelo doesn't seem phased though.
Dimelo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Leekpai takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Leekpai is rocked!
Dimelo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dimelo.
Leekpai is still on wobbly legs! Can Dimelo finish him?

Dimelo clinches up with Leekpai and pushes him back against the ropes.
Dimelo cracks Leekpai with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Leekpai goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Leekpai wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
