And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Gomez or perhaps it was just good defense by Dotson, which made it look bad.
Dotson throws a big counter combination but Gomez scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Dotson moves into range and clinches up with Gomez.
Gomez tries to pull guard but Dotson won't allow it.
Dotson has had enough of the clinch but Gomez keeps him there for the moment.
Dotson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
A frustrated look appears on Dotson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gomez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dotson to keep the fight standing.
Hosea Dotson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fonzi Gomez.
Gomez jumps guard.

Gomez has his foot on Dotson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dotson works his way back into a safe position though.
Gomez looking for a guillotine here but Dotson defends easily.
Gomez has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dotson doesn't defend quickly enough and Gomez has managed to lock this one up! Can Dotson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gomez on a fantastic submission victory.
