The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Garibaldi.
Garibaldi on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Garibaldi tries to score with a low kick but Stewart moves his leg out of the way.
The fighters circling - Garibaldi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stewart moves into range and connects with a jab.
Garibaldi misses with a head kick.
Garibaldi connects with an inside leg kick.
Garibaldi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Stewart counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Garibaldi thinking.
Garibaldi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Stewart checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Garibaldi lands a big head kick that sends Stewart tumbling to the mat! Garibaldi takes a step backwards and waves Stewart back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Don Stewart has been cut.
Stewart cracks Garibaldi with a good jab.
Garibaldi lands a nice hook to Stewart's body. Stewart takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Garibaldi forces Stewart back against the cage and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Garibaldi tries to work over Stewart's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Stewart throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Garibaldi lands a left hand that snaps the head of Stewart backwards.
Stewart tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Garibaldi's elbow.
Stewart misses with a hook from the clinch.
Stewart lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Stewart is leaning against Garibaldi and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Garibaldi.
Stewart lands a right hand.
Stewart goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Stewart scores with a shot to the side of Garibaldi's head.

Garibaldi blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Stewart tries to throw a body punch but Garibaldi avoids it by throwing Stewart back against the cage.

Stewart controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Stewart is posturing up here but Garibaldi has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Stewart tries to roll out but it's too tight and Stewart has to tap! Slick submission there by Garibaldi!
