Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsden changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Saunders looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Saunders tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Marsden is looking to take a break and control but Saunders is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Saunders pushes Marsden away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Marsden gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Marsden moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saunders is not content to let Marsden control the position.

Saunders is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Marsden off and has taken his back!
Even with his hooks in, Saunders manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Saunders.
Saunders is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Marsden. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Saunders throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Marsden!
Marsden is covering up but some of the strikes from Saunders are getting through and doing damage.
Saunders lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Marsden.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Saunders really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Saunders. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
