With a record of 23 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terryn Dall!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dall counters with a stiff right hand.
Smirnov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Dall bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dall cracks Smirnov with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Dall tries for a kimura but Smirnov is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dall is trying to get an arm triangle but Smirnov is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dall is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Smirnov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dall wants to control but Smirnov is keeping him busy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dall is working to tighten his grip on Smirnov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Smirnov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dall is really squeezing tight and eventually Smirnov passes out! Dall breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Terryn Dall decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
