Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wilton Duque (ranked 4533 p4p, 398 weight class) and Vito Polizzi (ranked 4534 p4p, 399 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Polizzi's choice of entrance music: DJ Lilman - Flex. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duque tries for a takedown but Polizzi circles away easily
and Polizzi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Duque thinking.
Duque has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio in the buildup to the fight.

Duque closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Polizzi did well to prevent Duque getting side control.
Polizzi has his hands clasped together around Duque's back. He's all about the action.

Polizzi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Duque is working away from the top position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
