The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huge shoots in and bounces Lukens off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Huge stands up over Lukens, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lukens escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Huge gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lukens has his foot on Huge's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Huge works his way back into a safe position though.

Lukens had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Huge is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lukens Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Huge's back instead.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
You can see the frustration on Huge's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lukens is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Huge defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Huge is holding onto Lukens's left hand, preventing any choke attempts.
Huge is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lukens gets his way!

Lukens is trying to stick to Huge's back but Huge is turning into Lukens. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lukens's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Huge.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lukens makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lukens.

Huge slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

A close second round but Matt Huge will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Huge will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
