Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pony Pony (ranked 135 p4p, 6 weight class) and Carlos Ruas (ranked 392 p4p, 14 weight class). The key to victory for Pony Pony has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pony Pony! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Ruas! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Ruas throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ruas fails to land the takedown. Ruas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ponys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Pony takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. No joy there for Pony, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A jab from Ruas misses. Ruas connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Ruas has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Pony is landing a low percentage of strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A swing and a miss from Ruas. Ruas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pony on the side of the head. Ruas lands with a right hand. Ruas has his takedown stuffed and Pony counters with a good low kick that Ruas was not able to check.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruas scores with a hook. Ruas throws a series of punches but Pony avoids them all with ease. Pony feinted there with a counter leg kick. Pony fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ruas blocks a head kick by Pony.
Ruas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ruas controlling the position from side mount. Pony stops Ruas from passing to mount. Ruas is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pony has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruas goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pony has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ruas but great work by Pony. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ruas is trying to get back to half guard. Ruas manages to get back to half guard. Ruas is looking to improve his position.
Ruas has a hand on Pony's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Pony takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Pony get's back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruas throws a lazy uppercut
and Pony counters with a left right combination that sends Ruas crashing to the mat - Pony wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Ruas out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pony Pony! Pony Pony decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. Carlos Ruas spoke after the fight, saying 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
