And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bon Adrien De Moncey!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Meyer does no damage.
De Moncey is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Meyer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Meyer counters with a stiff right hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from De Moncey is defended easily by Meyer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Meyer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming De Moncey to the mat! De Moncey manages to get full guard.

De Moncey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

De Moncey is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Meyer is just riding it out for now. De Moncey eventually gives up the hold.
Meyer is looking to control De Moncey's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Meyer avoid being mounted?

Meyer pushes De Moncey off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Meyer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with De Moncey but De Moncey pushes him off and we're back to square one.
