Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crack Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lukasz Patryk! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Head lands the left hand. Head throws a jab when Patryk was well out of range. Patryk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Head pinned against the cage. Head gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Head throws a hook but Patryk blocks it. Patryk steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Head. Patryk avoids the body shot from Head.
Patryk ducks under a wild hook from Head. Patryk throws a front kick that sends Head stumbling back into the cage. Head misses with an uppercut
and Patryk counters with a one-two to the body. Patryk throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Head looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Patryk is looking for the big counter here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Head misses with a leg kick and Patryk counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Head! Head is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Patryk off and has taken his back! Patryk tries to break free.
Head controlling the position well here. Patryk rolled but Head kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Head utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Patryk trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Patryk throws a big elbow that misses. Head escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Patryk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Head looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Patryk is looking to work some ground and pound but Head has wrist control. Patryk loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Patryk throws a big right hand that misses. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Patryk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Patryk content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Head avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Head keeping moving, preventing Patryk from controlling successfully. Patryk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Head has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Patryk has managed to get both his arms back between Head's legs - danger averted. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Head has his foot on Patryk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Patryk works his way back into a safe position though. Patryk distracts Head with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Patryk wants to control from the top but Head keeps moving. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Patryk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patryk gets to his feet - Head follows without any prompting. Head pivots, looking for a leg kick but Patryk is out of range and Head settles back down. Head leaves Patryk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Head rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Patryk moves into the clinch. Patryk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Patryk shoots in but Head avoids the takedown attempt easily. Crack Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukasz Patryk. Head thows a left - swing and a miss! A head kick misses from Patryk. Patryk closes this distance looking for a takedown but Head circles away. Head misses with a wild combination.
As Head backs off Patryk throws a huge counter combo but Head manages to avoid it all. Head paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Head throws out the jab but it was never going to land. And Patryk responds with a good body kick, but Head manages to step out the way in time. Head walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Patryk checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Crack Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Patryk tries to clinch up but Head circles away and keeps his distance. Head was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Head throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Patryk sees it coming and avoids it easily. Patryk changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Patryk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

It seemed like Patryk was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Head throws a leg kick which misses Patryk's front leg but catches the back leg as Patryk tries to avoid it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Head stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Head wants it to stay on the feet. Head appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Head misses with a looping right. Patryk is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Head throws a body shot but no joy. Patryk shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Head as he avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Crack Head will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Head throws a right and a left that Patryk avoids nicely. Head connects with a solid leg kick. Patryk moves into the clinch. Patryk pressing his opponent against the cage. Head looking to slow down the pace here. Head lands a body punch. Patryk wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Patryk goes for a takedown attempt but Head pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
No luck for Patryk with that takedown attempt. Crack Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukasz Patryk.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Head fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Patryk manages to avoid it. Head scores with a hook to the body. Patryk takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Crack Head is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice sprawl there from Head as Patryk shoots in. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Patryk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Head paws at him with a jab and circles away. Patryk shoots in for a takedown but Head shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Head was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. That's three minutes gone in the round. Head gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Patryk to score an easy takedown into full guard. Head is looking for a triangle but Patryk pushes his legs off easily.
Head is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Patryk is aware though and is defending well. My spies in Star Studded Beef inform me that Patryk has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Head manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Patryk manages to get himself to full guard.
Head is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Head trying to control but Patryk is working from the bottom. Head slips nicely into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Patryk is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Head is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Patryk can do to turn this around? Head controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Head shoots in looking for a takedown. Patryk tries to sprawl out of it but Head keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Patryk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Patryk looks like he wants to counter punch here. Some bone on bone action there as Patryk checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Patryk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Head. Patryk unleashes a big counter combination but Head bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Head keeps the fight on the outside. Head tries to score with a low kick but Patryk moves his leg out of the way. Head throws a hook but Patryk blocks it. Head looks to land a left hand but Patryk moved out of range nicely. A little jabbing left from Patryk on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patryk tries to clinch up. A left and a right from Patryk both land. Nice combination. A nice inside leg kick there by Head. That's going to slow Patryk down. Head fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Patryk, pushing him back against the cage.

Head sets himself, and Patryk steps forward looking for the clinch! Head avoids it this time. Patryk moves in looking to clinch but Head pushes him off. Head misses the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Head fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Head lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Patryk chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Head can pounce on him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Head. Patryk does a little dance to reset his feet. Head misses with a straight left. Head instigates a clinch. Head goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A frustrated look appears on Head's face as he tries to break the clinch. Head tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Head lands a good knee to the midsection. Patryk won't want to take too many of those. Head avoiding damage as Patryk throws knees to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Head. Beautiful body shot. Patryk gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Head sitting in guard, not really doing much. Head's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Head swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Lukasz Patryk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Patryk misses with a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Crack Head showed his dominance in that final round. Well Head has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Lukasz Patryk spoke after the fight, saying 'Shakaron Makaron, Shakaron Makaron, Shakaron Makaron!!!'.
