Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raycon Figg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Snapp!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figg showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Snapp.
We've been informed that Snapp has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Snapp avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A left lands for Figg.
Figg throws a head kick that misses.
Snapp uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


It looks like Raycon Figg has been cut.
Figg throws a head kick but Snapp moves out of range.
Figg tries to move into range but Snapp moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Figg shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Snapp sprawls well. Snapp wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Figg gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snapp lands with an overhand left.
Figg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Figg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Raycon Figg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Figg misses with a hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snapp throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Snapp scores with a nice right hand.
Snapp steps in with a hook that catches Figg right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Snapp follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Figg looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Snapp!
Bob Snapp really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Freebok (85% Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
