Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Stringfellow (ranked 2189 p4p, 123 weight class) and Obi Wan Kenobi (ranked 2051 p4p, 113 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stringfellow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A nice side step and Kenobi releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Kenobi lands a nice shot to the body.
We've been told by Stringfellow's head coaches at IFA: Performance Institute that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Desmond Stringfellow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stringfellow throws a looping overhand right but Kenobi ducks down to avoid it.

Stringfellow throws a lazy right hand but Kenobi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Stringfellow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kenobi.

Stringfellow takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Stringfellow is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Kenobi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Oh Stringfellow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kenobi drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Stringfellow's head, knocking him out cold! Kenobi is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Obi Wan Kenobi!
A relieved looking Obi Wan Kenobi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
