He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Errol Germonsen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Germonsen has eaten all the pies!

Clay fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Germonsen, pushing him back against the cage.
Clay connects with a knee to the head.

That has opened up Errol Germonsen's cut even more.

Clay lands a good knee to the midsection. Germonsen won't want to take too many of those.
Clay working the clinch nicely. Germonsen is working for position but Clay cracks him with a big knee to the head! Germonsen crumples up against the cage and Clay lands two more shots before the ref can save Germonsen! This one is all over!
