Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Houston Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Swan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Swan's choice of entrance music: I get money. The key to victory for Houston Alexander has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Houston Alexander! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Swan! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swan looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Swan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alexander swivels though and keeps the full guard. Swan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Alexander will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Alexander is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Alexander being controlled here, momentarily. Alexander trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Alexander throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Alexander is working an open guard so Swan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Alexander wants to clinch up but Swan keeps it at a distance. Alexander throws a leg kick which misses Swan's front leg but catches the back leg as Swan tries to avoid it. Alexander fails with an attempt to clinch.
Swan shoots in but Alexander avoids the takedown attempt easily. Swan looks gassed! Swan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Alexander throws a looping overhand right but Swan ducks down to avoid it. Swan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Swan preventing the sweep. Alexander lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Swan! Swan regains half guard. Swan is pressing down on Alexander's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Swan looking for a triangle here. Alexander is fighting it but it looks tight! Swan pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Alexander is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). King Swan!
