Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doc Robert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kooz Wahrr! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robert shoots in looking for a takedown. Wahrr tries to sprawl out of it but Robert keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wahrr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Wahrr as Robert shoots in. Wahrr drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Robert defends it well. Robert definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Robert goes for a double leg but Wahrr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wahrr continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doc Robert. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robert shoots in for a takedown but Wahrr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robert shoots in looking for a takedown. Wahrr tries to sprawl out of it but Robert keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Robert darts in trying to clinch and Wahrr decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Robert's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wahrr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wahrr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Robert has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wahrr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Robert looking to control but Wahrr passes into half guard.

Wahrr wants to free his trapped foot but Robert is holding on for dear life with his legs. Robert wants to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Robert trying to hold on to Wahrr's head to control him but Wahrr postures up.
Wahrr is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Robert still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Robert has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kooz Wahrr dominated that round. That's time! Robert's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wahrr tries to sprawl but Robert drives through with a takedown into half guard. Robert prevents Wahrr from improving his position. Kooz Wahrr has got the better of the ground game so far. Wahrr is concentrating on defense, preventing Robert from advancing position. Wahrr has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wahrr trying to control from the bottom.

Robert trying to control but he's not successful this time. Robert lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wahrr hang on? Wahrr is squirming around, avoiding Robert's attempts to control the action. Wahrr is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robert trying to control but he's not successful this time. Wahrr tries to reverse the position but Robert maintains control. Robert wants to stand but Wahrr is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Robert jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Wahrr manages to avoid the submission attempt. Robert sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Wahrr is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wahrr struggling a bit here. Robert trying to control the position but Wahrr is working away. Wahrr is looking for a sweep. Robert tries to score with some ground and pound. Wahrr controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wahrr is trying to control Robert's posture but Robert avoids it.

And Wahrr tries to counter it with a takedown but Robert pushes his down on his head and steps out. Wahrr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Robert. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wahrr has an active guard here but Robert has managed to pass into half guard.
Robert not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wahrr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wahrr wants to improve his position but Robert is controlling well.
Robert uses his free foot to push down on Wahrr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wahrr. Robert tries to get up but Wahrr was controlling his body and he's reversed into guard. Wahrr tries to free his leg and advance position but Robert is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wahrr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wahrr throws a big right hand that misses. Robert keeping moving, preventing Wahrr from controlling successfully. Wahrr throws a big right hand that misses. Robert looking to control.
Robert is really struggling to control Wahrr but he's trying to hold on to the position. Wahrr wants to control from the top but Robert keeps moving. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Robert is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Robert misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doc Robert. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robert drives through and clinches with Wahrr against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Doc Robert. I think Robert has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
