Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matthers clinches up against the cage.

Matthers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Schultz fails with a takedown attempt.
Schultz shoots in but no luck this time.

Schultz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Schultz lands in his opponent's guard.
Matthers is wriggling around but Schultz manages to pass to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schultz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Matthers with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Matthers is trying to control but can't.

Schultz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Matthers can do to turn this around?

Schultz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Schultz connects with a nice short shot to Matthers's temple.

And that's the end of the fight!
Darron Schultz showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Schultz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
