Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Le Roy (ranked 4923 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ido Ori (ranked 5165 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marco Le Roy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ido Ori!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Le Roy forces Ori back against the cage and clinches.

Le Roy manages to break the clinch.

Ori scores with a takedown into Le Roy's guard.
Ori would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Le Roy seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Ori wants to control from the top but Le Roy keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ori throws a strike but Le Roy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ori looking for a sweep. Not yet Ori, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Le Roy wants to control from the top but Ori keeps moving.

Ori working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Le Roy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Le Roy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ori has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Le Roy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Ori looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Le Roy is defended easily by Ori.
Le Roy throws a body punch but Ori moves out of range.
Ori shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Le Roy counters by moving into the clinch.
Ori is pressed up against the cage. Le Roy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ori down to the mat. Ori avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Le Roy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marco Le Roy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ori shoots in but Le Roy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Le Roy tries for a takedown but Ori sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Le Roy is breathing heavily.

Le Roy moves out of range as Ori throws a body kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Ori.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ori.
Ori shoots and misses

and Le Roy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Ori pushes off an throws an elbow but Le Roy leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Ori jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Le Roy walks away with a smile on his face. Ori gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ori shoots and misses
and Ori takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Le Roy gets caught flat footed, as Ori shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Marco Le Roy will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Ido Ori has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ori cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ori controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ori wants to control the pace but Le Roy is squirming around nicely.
Ori lands a big elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Le Roy really wants to buck Ori off and get back to his feet.
Ori controlling the position easily from mount.
Let's hope that Ori has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Le Roy is squirming around, avoiding Ori's attempts to control the action.
Le Roy tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Ori tries to control but Le Roy wriggling away.
Ori lands a nice shot to the head.
Ori landing strikes from the mount and Le Roy is in trouble!
Le Roy is trying to escape the mount.

Ori looking to secure an arm triangle but Le Roy defends it well.
Ori tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

BOOM! Ori connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Ori has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ori wants to control the pace but Le Roy is squirming around nicely.
Ori takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ido Ori showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Nice sprawl there from Le Roy as Ori shoots in.
Ori shoots in looking for a takedown but Le Roy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ori's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Le Roy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Le Roy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Marco Le Roy showed his dominance in that final round.
