Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohsin Zaidi (ranked 1544 p4p, 207 weight class) and Terje Warholm (ranked 1161 p4p, 152 weight class). Mohsin Zaidi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warholm displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zaidi.
Warholm scores with a sloppy right hand. Zaidi should have avoided that one.

It looks like Mohsin Zaidi has been cut.
Warholm throws an off balance right hand
and Zaidi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Zaidi thows a leg kick but Warholm checks it
and Warholm counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Zaidi lands with a nice body punch.

Warholm lands a jab to the nose.
Zaidi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Zaidi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zaidi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Warholm looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Warholm wants to get back to his feet but Zaidi drags him back down.

Zaidi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Warholm, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zaidi misses with the ground and pound.
Warholm is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Zaidi has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Warholm throws Zaidi to one side and escapes!
Zaidi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Warholm tries to clinch up but Zaidi circles away and keeps his distance.

Zaidi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Warholm was covering up waiting for the punch and Zaidi finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Warholm is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Zaidi presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Zaidi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Warholm has a couple of punches blocked by Zaidi.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Warholm wants to sweep but no luck.

Warholm keeping moving, preventing Zaidi from controlling successfully.
Zaidi tries to free his leg and advance position but Warholm is retaining full guard.

Zaidi throws an elbow that misses. Warholm uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Zaidi's guard. Nice move by Warholm!

Warholm works a leg free and moves into half guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zaidi is on top in guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Warholm avoids the body shot from Zaidi.
Warholm lands a really nice looking cross but Zaidi seems unphased.
Warholm keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Warholm has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zaidi is looking to take this one to the mat.
Zaidi misses with a short punch on the inside.
Zaidi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Warholm pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohsin Zaidi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Warholm manages to break the clinch.
Zaidi looks for the body kick but Warholm saw that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zaidi tried to score with a low kick but Warholm checks it.
Warholm lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice straight punches there by Warholm. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Warholm.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Warholm connects with a body shot that sends Zaidi's belly button to the back.
Warholm closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Zaidi! Warholm dives in looking to finish! Zaidi is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
