Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jianabule Ahezhuole (ranked 24074 p4p, 572 weight class) and Betrdanu Son (ranked 2906 p4p, 324 weight class). Betrdanu Son has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jianabule Ahezhuole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Betrdanu Son!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Son manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ahezhuole on his heels. He'll look to pass Ahezhuole's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ahezhuole can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Son controls the pace.
Son stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ahezhuole swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ahezhuole is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Son might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ahezhuole haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well Son has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
