Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Riformato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Borne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riformato's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, psycho. Kevin Borne will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riformato moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Riformato just misses with a punch to the body.
Riformato takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Riformato really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Borne tries to clinch up.
Borne sizes up Riformato with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Borne displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Riformato with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Borne to score with a decent uppercut.
Riformato just misses with a punch to the body.

Riformato shoots in but no luck this time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Riformato tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Borne smiles and moves away.

Borne tries to bum rush Riformato with a series of wild strikes but Riformato uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Riformato shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Borne as he jumps to the side.

Borne closes the distance and pushes Riformato back into the cage.
Riformato breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Borne is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Riformato had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Borne looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Riformato feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Borne's calf.
Borne takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Borne throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Riformato's waist but Riformato gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Borne off to one side.

Riformato takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Borne catches Riformato with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Horrible takedown by Riformato or perhaps it was just good defense by Borne which made him look bad.
Riformato is breathing heavily.
A jab-cross combination lands for Borne and sends Riformato crashing to the mat! Borne follows him down to the mat - Riformato regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Borne seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Riformato tries to roll over but Borne keeps him under control.

Borne is trying to control the action in half guard but Riformato is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
No luck for Borne with that takedown attempt.
Riformato shoots for a double leg takedown but Borne sprawls well. He's pushed Riformato's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Riformato tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Borne swivels and escapes.
Left hook, right uppercut from Borne.
Riformato has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Borne tries to clinch there but Riformato circles away.
Borne looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Riformato. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Riformato is looking to clinch.
Borne might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Borne uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Riformato feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Borne controls Riformato momentarily but Riformato frees himself.

Borne is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Riformato stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Riformato has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Riformato is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Borne up.
Riformato is working for a rear naked choke. Borne is not defending it well and Riformato has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Borne refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Borne's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
