Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Davis (ranked 5029 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Benedetti (ranked 4748 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Davis shoots and misses
and Benedetti counters with a nice low kick that buckles Davis's knee momentarily.

and Davis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Benedetti throws a nice outside leg kick.
Benedetti thuds his shin into the meat of Davis's side.
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Benedetti as he jumps to the side.
Davis looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lorenzo Benedetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benedetti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davis manages to avoid it.
Davis was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Davis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Benedetti sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davis somewhat.
