Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexis Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ismar Donci!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Darius Henderson and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Donci drives through and clinches with Tucker against the cage.
Donci is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Tucker can't get the takedown.
Donci is pressed up against the cage. Tucker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Donci down to the mat. Donci avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexis Tucker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Donci gets the takedown into side control.

Donci decides to stand back up. Donci steps back and let's Tucker get back to his feet.

Donci darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tucker is controlling Donci's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Donci is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tucker has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Donci is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Donci works his way into side control.
Donci misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Donci wants to control but Tucker is keeping him busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Donci tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Donci has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Tucker tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tucker prevents Donci from improving position.

Donci stands up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A big right from Donci misses.
Tucker swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Tucker throws a right hand that Donci ducks under and follows up with a left that Donci also avoids with ease.
Donci leaves Tucker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ismar Donci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tucker dives in for a single leg takedown but Donci sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Donci breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tucker shoots in but Donci avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Donci moves into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Donci lands a body punch in the clinch.

Donci manages to break the clinch.
Donci fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tucker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tucker dives in for a single leg takedown but Donci sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Donci lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Tucker is breathing heavily.
Tucker shoots in and drives through. Donci sprawls well.
Donci is trying to counter with his kicks.

Donci drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Donci wants to stand but Tucker has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Donci scoring with punches to the head and body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ismar Donci dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Donci tries to clinch up.
Tucker appears to be looking for a big counter.

Donci dives in and scores a takedown into Tucker's guard.


Tucker is rocked!
Donci postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Oh Tucker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Donci is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Donci forces his way into half guard.
Still in half guard, Donci seems content to control.

Tucker is defending against the submission attempts here by Donci.

Donci is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tucker sees it coming and defends easily.
Donci lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Tucker! More strikes land and this one is all over! Donci jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ismar Donci!
