Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Finch (ranked 3599 p4p, 324 weight class) and Jeffrey Lazyface (ranked 6566 p4p, 423 weight class). Tristan Finch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tristan Finch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeffrey Lazyface! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lazyface clinches up against the cage. Finch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lazyface will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lazyface closes the distance and clinches. Finch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lazyface gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lazyface pushes Finch off and scrambles back to his feet.
Finch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lazyface, pushing him back against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lazyface tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Finch drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Finch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lazyface walks away with a smile on his face. Finch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lazyface throws a series of punches but Finch moves out of range. Lazyface looks to clinch and Finch counters with a takedown into side control. Finch sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lazyface is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Finch wants to control but Lazyface is keeping him busy. Lazyface tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Finch wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Finch controlling the position from side mount. Finch tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Finch decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lazyface to his feet. Finch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Finch scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Finch throwing strikes but missing, from side control. You can see the frustration on Lazyface's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Finch thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Finch creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lazyface sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Lazyface is not content to let Finch control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Finch goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lazyface rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Finch's guard! Nice work there by Lazyface! Finch keeping moving, preventing Lazyface from controlling successfully. Lazyface is looking to work some ground and pound but Finch has wrist control. Lazyface stands up and waves to Finch to follow him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lazyface fails with the takedown and Finch counters by moving into the clinch. Tristan Finch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey Lazyface. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Finch holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Finch is struggling to control the position. Knees in the clinch landing for Finch.
Finch tries to pull guard but Lazyface won't allow it.
Finch has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lazyface uses from the top position. Lazyface preventing the sweep. Lazyface won't allow Finch to get back to his feet. Finch is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lazyface has his hands clasped together but Finch extends and breaks Lazyface's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Finch.
