Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson James (ranked 720 p4p, 90 weight class) and Karlos Vemola (ranked 6392 p4p, 420 weight class). Vemola is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHRe-LwrLPo. Karlos Vemola will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Karlos Vemola!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vemola pinned against the cage. Vemola gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Excellent takedown into side control there by James.

James throws a strike aimed at the side of Vemola's head but Vemola avoids it well.
James cracks Vemola with a big right hand but Vemola just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Vemola down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

James in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Vemola looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! James turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

A relieved looking Tyson James thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Karlos Vemola stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry for my fans'.
