The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nistelrooy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Black trying to get back to full guard but Nistelrooy takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Black is squirming around, avoiding Nistelrooy's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black tries to hold on but Nistelrooy pushes him away.

Black is desperately trying to improve his position but Nistelrooy has a good base and remains in mount.
Black bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Nistelrooy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Nistelrooy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Black defends well.

Black wants to pass the guard but Nistelrooy is defending well.
Nistelrooy is trying to control but can't.
