Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kyle Cavender!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cayden Abner!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavender throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Abner counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Cavender throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cavender throws a right hand that Abner ducks under and follows up with a left that Abner also avoids with ease.
Abner throws a counter combo.
Abner dodges the punch combination from Cavender.
Abner is looking for the big counter here.
Cavender shoots in looking for a takedown but Abner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cavender's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Abner appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Cavender looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Cavender is working for a submission of some sort.
Cavender is looking to stall here but Abner recovers full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cavender pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Abner back to the cage. Cavender follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Cavender throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Abner's waist but Abner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cavender off to one side.
Abner appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Cavender looks to land a combination but Abner avoids it well.
Cavender fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Abner counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Cavender is breathing heavily.

letting Abner counter with a right hand.
Cavender throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Abner.
It seemed like Abner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cavender takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

and Abner counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Cavender misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Cavender thuds a left hand into Abner's body.
Abner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cavender.
Abner is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Cavender with a body shot.
Cavender misses with a double jab
and Abner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Abner moves out of range as Cavender strikes.

Abner moves out of range as Cavender throws a body kick.
Despite the aggression on Abner's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Cavender throws a sloppy head kick and Abner moves out of range easily.
Abner throws a counter combo.
Cavender misses with a double jab
and Abner counters with a stiff right hand.
A combination from Cavender does no damage.
A punch combination from Cavender misses.
Cavender fails with the takedown
and Abner counters with a right hand to the body.
Cavender on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Cavender falls off balance throwing a combination
and Abner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cavender will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Despite the aggression on Abner's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Cavender looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Abner is fending him off so far but Cavender persists. Nope, Abner circles away and we're back to standing.
Cavender throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Abner.
Sloppy strikes from Abner. Those never looked like landing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cavender.
Abner appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Abner lands with a shot to the body.
Cavender walks into a straight right hand from Abner.
Abner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Cavender gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Abner counters with a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cayden Abner will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Abner counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Abner showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cavender.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Abner! But no joy.
Cavender throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cavender shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Abner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abner gets in close and tags Cavender with a short punch that almost sends Cavender to the mat! Oh Cavender is in big trouble! He turns his back on Abner, trying to create some distance but Abner rushes him, striking wildly and Cavender goes down! The referee tackles Abner into the cage to end the fight! Abner is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cayden Abner!
