The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Titor blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Titor lands an uppercut.
I was talking to Thompson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Titor is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Thompson clobbers Titor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Titor rushes Thompson and presses him up against the cage.

Titor dives in and grabs Thompson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thompson pushes down on Titor's head and hops out.
Titor slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Thompson looks to score with a jab to the body but Titor is just out of range.
Thompson throws a hook to the side of Titor's head but Titor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Thompson throws an off balance right hand
and Titor counters with a one-two to the body.

Thompson takes a swing at Titor's ribcage but misses.

and Thompson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Thompson slips under a jab from Titor.
Titor fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Thompson throws a head kick but Titor moves out of range.
Titor connects with a body shot that sends Thompson's belly button to the back.
A telegraphed right hand from Thompson misses the target.
Thompson tries to move into range but Titor moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Thompson is rocked!
Titor thuds a left hand into Thompson's body.
Oh Thompson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Titor stuns Thompson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Thompson is breathing heavily.
Titor lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Thompson out cold! Thompson is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

During a confident post fight interview, John Titor thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
