Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Blevio (ranked 5055 p4p, 373 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 6405 p4p, 416 weight class). Blevio comes into the arena with De Sfroos- Davide VDS blaring out of the sound system. Slice has chosen Coolio - Gangsta’s Paradise as his entrance music. Roberto Blevio has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Blevio misses.
Slice looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Blevio throws an overhand right that lands on Slice's shoulder, as Slice tries to avoid the shot.
Slice lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Blevio clinches up against the cage.
Slice fails to pull guard.
Slice lands a nice uppercut.
Slice tries to pull guard but Blevio forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Blevio's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blevio misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Blevio throws a sloppy head kick and Slice moves out of range easily.
Blevio throws a right and a left that Slice avoids nicely.
A low kick from Blevio is predictable there

and Slice counters by clinching up.

Blevio is trying to break the clinch but Slice has him pressed against the cage.
Slice looking to throw knees to the head but Blevio is blocking nicely.

Blevio's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Blevio misses with a wild combination.
Slice tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Nice body kick there by Slice.
Slice looks to throw the jab but Blevio is out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Slice enables Blevio to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Slice manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Slice is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Blevio is sitting in close to Slice's body. Slice has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Blevio is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Blevio is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Slice.
