The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rosenthal gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Poohs to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Rosenthal working for a triangle but Poohs defends it easily.

Rosenthal working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Poohs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Poohs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rosenthal is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Poohs gets to his feet. Rosenthal looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Rosenthal closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Poohs quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rosenthal seems to be looking for submissions.
Rosenthal wants to stand up but Poohs manages to regain full guard.

Rosenthal is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Poohs is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Poohs has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poohs works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Poohs is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rosenthal doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Poohs.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Poohs is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Poohs is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rosenthal defends it well.
