Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denis Young (ranked 24669 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Wackson (ranked 4912 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Denis Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Wackson ! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Young enables Wackson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Young manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wackson wants to stand but Young is controlling his posture from full guard. Young wants to control but Wackson passes easily into half guard.
Young is trying to stand up here but Wackson is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Young is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wackson moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Young.

That's one minute gone in the round. Young throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Young is staying active underneath Wackson , who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Young has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wackson is working away from the top position though. Wackson blocks the strikes from Young.
Young is looking to escape. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wackson decides to stand up. Wackson has managed to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Young breaks from the clinch.
Wackson shoots in and gets a takedown into Young's guard. Young is looking to stand back up but Wackson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Young. Wackson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Young defending well though. Wackson stands up and beckons Young to join him on the feet. Wackson stuffs the takedown. Wackson clinches. Wackson scores with a nice hook to the head.

Wackson clinches. Young jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wackson walks away with a smile on his face. Young gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Wackson pushes Young up against the cage in a clinch. Wackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Young has one foot on Wackson 's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Michael Wackson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Wackson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wackson misses with a double jab.
Young moves into range and clinches up with Wackson . Young takes an elbow to the forehead. Wackson lands with a left to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wackson tightens his grip and picks Young up, before dumping him to the ground. Young manages to land in guard. Young manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wackson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young is trying to stand up here but Wackson is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wackson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Young missing with punches from the bottom.
Young tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Young has one foot on Wackson 's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Young takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Wackson tries to clinch up but Young circles away and keeps his distance. Wackson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Young is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Young sneaks out the side door and pushes Wackson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Denis Young is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wackson is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wackson takes the fight into the clinch. Young is looking for a takedown. Young is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Wackson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Young manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Young has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Wackson has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Wackson gets control of Young's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wackson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Young wants to control from the top but Wackson keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wackson is adopting a defensive guard. Wackson keeping moving, preventing Young from controlling successfully. Wackson has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Young has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wackson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Michael Wackson will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Wackson has Young pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wackson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Young tumbling to the mat - Wackson dives into Young's guard. Young is working an open guard so Wackson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Wackson lands with a light punch inside. Young's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Wackson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A nice right hand lands inside from Wackson . Wackson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wackson misses with a hook from the clinch. Wackson is trying to trip Young. He has hold of a leg but Young is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wackson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Young wants to get back to his feet but Wackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Young working a defensive guard here.
Wackson gets to his feet - Young follows without any prompting.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Wackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
