Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Armstrong (ranked 24759 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Manning (ranked 4957 p4p, 0 weight class). Noah Manning will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fabian Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Manning! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manning gets a double leg takedown into Armstrong's guard. Armstrong manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Manning has hold of one of Armstrong's legs. Armstrong is fighting the takedown attempt but Manning gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Armstrong pushes Manning off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Armstrong has managed to clinch.
Armstrong drags the fight down to the ground.
Armstrong throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Armstrong controlling the position. Armstrong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Manning defends well. Armstrong is trying to keep Manning in close.
Armstrong is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Manning controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong pulls Manning in close to prevent any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Armstrong is on top in guard.
Armstrong seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Manning really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Armstrong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Armstrong's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Armstrong trying to stand up but can't free himself from Manning's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Armstrong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Armstrong postures up.
Armstrong preventing the sweep. Manning can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Armstrong controls the pace. Armstrong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Manning for as long as he can get away with. Armstrong slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Manning. Armstrong is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Manning sees it coming and defends easily. Manning is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Armstrong scores with a couple of nice shots. Armstrong sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Armstrong is thwarting Manning's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manning wants to get back to full guard. Armstrong keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Armstrong continues to stall. Manning is pressing down on Armstrong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Manning is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Armstrong is aware though and is defending well. Armstrong engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Manning has an active guard here but Armstrong has managed to pass into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Armstrong slows the pace down in half guard. Manning wants to get back to his feet.
Ground and pound from Armstrong. Armstrong content to control rather than advance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabian Armstrong dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Armstrong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Armstrong is controlling the pace.
Manning should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Armstrong is nestled in close to Manning, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Manning wants to improve his position but Armstrong is controlling well.
Armstrong scoring with strikes to the body and head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Armstrong is figuring out what he wants to do next. Armstrong is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Manning can do to turn this around? Manning pushes Armstrong off looking to stand but Armstrong dives back in and keeps control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Manning is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Armstrong. Manning rushes Armstrong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Armstrong as Manning tries to tie him up. Armstrong manages to pull guard.
Armstrong trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Armstrong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Armstrong looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Armstrong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manning gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Manning decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Noah Manning seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manning shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Manning showed some decent athleticism there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Armstrong gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabian Armstrong dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Armstrong scores with a jab to the jaw. Manning shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Manning showed some decent athleticism there. Armstrong has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Manning is on him like a limpet, forcing Armstrong back against the cage. Armstrong pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Manning closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Armstrong jumps guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Armstrong keeping full guard, as Manning tries to pass. Armstrong trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Armstrong is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Armstrong is on top in guard.
Armstrong controls from within his opponent's guard. Armstrong forces his way into half guard. Armstrong winds up and cracks Manning with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Manning looking for submissions off his back. Armstrong is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Manning defends it well. Manning takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armstrong is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Armstrong decides to return to a standing position. Manning shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Armstrong's guard. Armstrong kicks Manning off and gets to his feet. Manning misses with a combination
and Armstrong counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fabian Armstrong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong gets caught flat footed, as Manning shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Armstrong is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Manning presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Armstrong pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Armstrong feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mannings jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Armstrong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Armstrong fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Manning, pushing him back against the cage. Armstrong drags the fight down to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Armstrong throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Armstrong seems keen to control Manning's posture. Armstrong tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Manning tries to free his leg and advance position but Armstrong is retaining full guard. Armstrong has control of Manning's left arm, preventing Manning from doing any damage. Manning won't allow Armstrong to sweep him here. Manning wants to control from the top but Armstrong keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Armstrong is on top in guard.
Armstrong drops back looking for a leg! Manning is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Manning manages to kick Armstrong off! Armstrong jumps back into Manning's guard. Armstrong is stalling in the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Fabian Armstrong showed his dominance in that final round. Well Armstrong has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
