Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Karl Denke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kagekatsu Uesugi! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Denke scores with a three punch combo!
Denke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Denke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Denke has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zero Tolerance in the buildup to the fight. Uesugi avoids the head kick by Denke.

Uesugi doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Denke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Uesugi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Donk. Uesugi catches Denke right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Karl Denke has been cut. Denke misses with a combination
and Uesugi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Uesugi throws a lazy right hand but Denke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! An inside leg kick from Denke misses. Some wild striking there from Denke.
Uesugi clobbers Denke with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Denke throws a looping overhand right but Uesugi ducks down to avoid it. Karl Denke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Denke moves away from the strike by Uesugi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uesugi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Denke. Denke throws a sloppy head kick and Uesugi moves out of range easily. A little jabbing left from Uesugi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Denke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Uesugi lands a big right hand that sends Denke crashing to the mat! Uesugi stays standing though and waves Denke back to his feet!
Denke is rocked! Denke misses with a straight right. Oh Denke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Uesugi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Denke. Denke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Denke seems to have got his legs back now. Denke throws a right and a left that both miss. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Uesugi fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Denke to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Denke looks to clinch but Uesugi throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Denke taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
