Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douche Canoe (ranked 1830 p4p, 235 weight class) and Devon Bailey (ranked 1692 p4p, 226 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Devon Bailey!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey looks to land a left hand but Canoe moved out of range nicely.

Canoe throws a right hand that Bailey ducks under and follows up with a left that Bailey also avoids with ease.
Bailey throws out a counter right but Canoe avoids it with no problem.

It looks like Douche Canoe has been cut.

and Bailey counters with a good, hard body kick but Canoe shrugs it off.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bailey.

Bailey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Canoe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Canoe decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bailey's guard.

Canoe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Canoe motions for Bailey to come forward. Canoe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd cheers as Bailey lands an impressive looking overhand right. Canoe doesn't seem phased though.

Bailey shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Bailey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Canoe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close second round but I would say that Douche Canoe will probably get the nod.

Canoe throws a big counter combination but Bailey scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Devon Bailey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Canoe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Devon Bailey decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
