The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Com dips to his left and cracks Fett with an uppercut!
Com displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fett throws out the jab.
Fett closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Com looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Com dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fett. That did some damage!
Fett chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Com can pounce on him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Com will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bomb Com seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Com looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Fett's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fett tries to work over Com's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Fett has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Com connects with a nice short shot to Fett's temple.

Settakian Fett has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Fett working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Com doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Com manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Com wants to control from the top but Fett keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Com is in close to Fett's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Fett had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Com defends it easily.

Com with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fett has his foot on Com's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Com works his way back into a safe position though.
