Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jaro Lalla (ranked 2273 p4p, 0 weight class) and Panupong Singsurat (ranked 2081 p4p, 0 weight class). Panupong Singsurat told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jaro Lalla! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Panupong Singsurat! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singsurat drives through and clinches with Lalla against the cage.
Singsurat breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Singsurat rushes Lalla and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Lalla works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Lalla tries to free his leg and advance position but Singsurat is retaining full guard. Lalla is fighting to break Singsurat's control of his arms but Singsurat is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Singsurat wants to get back to his feet but Lalla is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lalla drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Singsurat dives on top into guard. Singsurat trying to control but Lalla is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Singsurat is looking to stand up but Lalla won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singsurat sitting in guard here, content to control. Lalla working for a triangle but Singsurat defends it easily.
Singsurat stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lalla swivels though and keeps the full guard. Singsurat seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Singsurat wants to pass the guard but Lalla is keeping the position. Singsurat slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Singsurat trying to control but Lalla is working from the bottom. Lalla is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Singsurat is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singsurat trying to control the position from guard on top but Lalla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lalla takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Lalla looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Singsurat tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lalla swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lalla feinted there with a counter leg kick. Singsurat closes the distance and pushes Lalla back into the cage. Singsurat breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lalla gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Singsurat. Singsurat is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lalla's half guard. Singsurat trying to control from half guard but Lalla is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Singsurat controlling the action here. Lalla is not content to let Singsurat control the position. Lalla looking for subs from the bottom but Singsurat mounts him! We've been informed that Singsurat has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Singsurat can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lalla is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Panupong Singsurat dominated that round. That's time! Lalla's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Singsurat bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Singsurat tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Singsurat tries to advance to mount but Lalla denies him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Singsurat is looking to take a break and control but Lalla is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lalla is looking to regain half guard here but Singsurat keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singsurat decides to stand back up. Singsurat looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Lalla slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Singsurat wants to stand but Lalla has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Singsurat is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singsurat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lalla keeping moving, preventing Singsurat from controlling successfully. Singsurat slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Singsurat is looking to stand up but Lalla won't let him.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singsurat tries to clinch there but Lalla circles away.
Lalla tried to counter with a leg kick but Singsurat avoided it. Singsurat throws a jab but it's blocked by Lalla. Singsurat drives through with a takedown into guard. Singsurat is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Singsurat is pushing down on Lalla's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lalla is fighting to maintain full guard but Singsurat has managed to sneak the leg through. Singsurat has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Singsurat throwing strikes but Lalla bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Lalla drops back, looking for a kneebar! Singsurat looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Singsurat looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Singsurat!
Singsurat decides to stand back up. Singsurat closes the distance and pushes Lalla back into the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lalla drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Singsurat prevents the takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Panupong Singsurat showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Lalla is looking for a takedown. Lalla is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Singsurat can't fight it off and eventually Lalla manages to take the fight to the floor. Singsurat looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Singsurat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Panupong Singsurat has got the better of the ground game so far. Lalla is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Singsurat pulls his head out easily. Singsurat has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Singsurat trying to control the action but Lalla is working from the bottom. Singsurat missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lalla looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lalla looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Singsurat seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lalla does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lalla won't allow Singsurat to pass to mount. Singsurat controlling the action here. Jaro Lalla has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Singsurat is looking to stall here but Lalla recovers full guard. Lalla looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Singsurat has picked Lalla up and slammed him! Lalla can't keep hold of the triangle and Singsurat manages to pass to side control! Singsurat stands up and we're back to a striking position. Singsurat misses the jab. Singsurat tries a head kick but it misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singsurat tries to clinch but Lalla moves out of range. Singsurat rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lalla moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Singsurat dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Singsurat gets a takedown into half guard. Lalla is refusing to be controlled, as Singsurat sits in half guard. Lalla looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Singsurat throwing shots but Lalla is blocking nicely. Lalla actively working from the bottom here. Well, if Singsurat is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

And that's the end of the fight! Panupong Singsurat comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Singsurat has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
