Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Glatt (ranked 1408 p4p, 182 weight class) and Bill Shorton (ranked 1030 p4p, 130 weight class). Glatt comes into the arena with Killed by death blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glatt clobbers Shorton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Glatt misses with a body shot.
Glatt sets himself, and Shorton steps forward looking for the clinch! Glatt avoids it this time.

Shorton throws out a loose jab but Glatt uses good head movement to avoid it.

A nice side step and Shorton releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Shorton might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Bill Shorton was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Doug Glatt spoke after the fight, saying 'Hats off to my opponent.....win or lose I fight for the fans I'll beat that ass next time.'.
