Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Nordquist (ranked 2690 p4p, 158 weight class) and Stupid Tattoo Guy (ranked 2709 p4p, 159 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Nordquist! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stupid Tattoo Guy! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tattoo Guy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nordquist tries to buck Tattoo Guy off but Tattoo Guy is having none of it. Tattoo Guy swings around for an armbar but Nordquist sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tattoo Guy's guard. Nordquist passes easily into side control. Nice work. Tattoo Guy sneaks back into half guard. Tattoo Guy is looking for a sweep. Nordquist is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tattoo Guy felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Tattoo Guy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tattoo Guy. Nordquist wants to pass the guard but Tattoo Guy is keeping the position. Nordquist pushes down on Tattoo Guy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tattoo Guy is pressing down on Nordquist's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Nordquist wants to get up but he can't break Tattoo Guy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've been hearing that Nordquist has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nordquist wants to pass the guard but Tattoo Guy is keeping the position. Tattoo Guy looking to control.
Tattoo Guy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Nordquist passes into side control.
Nordquist wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tattoo Guy, who protects the arm well. Nordquist tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Tattoo Guy manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nordquist is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tattoo Guy has managed to free his arm - good work. Nordquist trying to mount his opponent but Tattoo Guy defends it. Tattoo Guy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Tattoo Guy has an active guard here but Nordquist has managed to pass into half guard.
Tattoo Guy actively working from the bottom here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nordquist is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tattoo Guy has managed to free his arm - good work. Tattoo Guy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nordquist pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Nordquist dominated that round. That's time! Nordquist's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tattoo Guy walks forward, straight into a front kick from Nordquist. Nordquist throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nordquist ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A left lands for Nordquist.
It looks like Stupid Tattoo Guy has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Tattoo Guy moves into range and connects with a jab. Tattoo Guy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nordquist throws a head kick that misses. Nordquist scores with the left hand. Tattoo Guy knows he should have avoided that one. Good standup being displayed there by Nordquist as he connects with a hook. Tattoo Guy checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Nordquist connects with a body shot that sends Tattoo Guy's belly button to the back. A head kick misses from Nordquist. Tattoo Guy changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tattoo Guy takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tattoo Guy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Nordquist sizes up Tattoo Guy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Tattoo Guy misses with a body shot.
Tattoo Guy lands a head shot. Tattoo Guy defending well as Nordquist loads up on a big left hand. A big right from Tattoo Guy misses. Tattoo Guy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nordquist sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nordquist misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tattoo Guy moves out of range as Nordquist strikes. Nordquist ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tattoo Guy moves away. A countering left hand to the body from Tattoo Guy misses. Tattoo Guy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nordquist moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nordquist lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tattoo Guy lands with an overhand left.
Nordquist is rocked! Nordquist is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tattoo Guy. Oh Nordquist is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tattoo Guy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nordquist throws out the jab. Tattoo Guy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nordquist throws a body punch but Tattoo Guy moves out of range. Nordquist throws a leg kick and Tattoo Guy counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stupid Tattoo Guy! Stupid Tattoo Guy decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
