The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jonson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
jonson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
jonson shoots for a takedown but Adrian saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
jonson shoots in and drives through. Adrian sprawls well.
Brandon Adrian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of osmar jonson.

Adrian keeps the fight on the outside.
jonson throws a head kick that misses.
osmar jonson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adrian keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
jonson shoots for a double leg takedown but Adrian sprawls well. He's pushed jonson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adrian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Adrian distracts jonson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
jonson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Adrian wants to control from the top but jonson keeps moving.
Adrian stands up and waves to jonson to follow him.
Adrian has closed the distance and engaged jonson in a clinch.
Adrian has clasped his hands together around jonson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Adrian wants to lay and pray for a moment but jonson keeps working.
Adrian wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by jonson, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adrian lands a decent elbow from side control.
Adrian creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Adrian cracks jonson with a big right hand but jonson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Adrian in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... jonson is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
