The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonjones throws a body punch but Malone moves out of range.
Malone lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Malone lands a body shot.
Good exchange - Malone coming out on top.
Jonjones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Malone digs a good body shot into Jonjones's ribs.
Jonjones looks to throw the jab but Malone is out of range.
Malone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Malone scores with a punch to the head.
A telegraphed right hand from Jonjones misses the target.
Malone lands with a straight right. Jonjones didn't see that one coming.
John Malone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Malone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jonjones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Malone manages to avoid it.
Malone listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Jonjones is rocked!
Malone takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Oh Jonjones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Malone lands with an uppercut that bounces Jonjones off the cage and back into range.
Jonjones misses with a looping right.
Malone defending well as Jonjones loads up on a big left hand.
Jonjones seems to have got his legs back now.
Jonjones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Malone steps in with a hook that catches Jonjones right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Malone follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Jonjones looks absolutely devastated.
